By registering, enrolling in a course, or using the website/portal of Prathibha Institute ("the Institute", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you are below 18 years of age, your parent or guardian should read and accept these terms on your behalf, and we collect guardian details for this purpose.
1. Scope of Services
Prathibha Institute provides classroom and guided training for competitive entrance exams (such as EAPCET and JEE), programming and software courses, data and analytics training, design and diploma programs, and aptitude development. The Institute also operates a student portal where enrolled students can view their courses and wallet balance.
2. Registration & Enrollment
- Admission is subject to the applicant providing accurate registration details and to the course having available seats in the preferred batch.
- The Institute may require an admission test or counselling session before confirming enrollment in certain courses.
- You agree to provide true, complete and current information at registration. Supplying false information may result in cancellation of admission.
- Enrollment is confirmed only after the applicable fee (or initial payment, where a payment plan is offered) is received and processed.
3. Fees & Payment
- Course fees are stated by the Institute and may change for future cohorts; the fee applicable to you is the one communicated at the time of your enrollment.
- Payments may be made at the Institute's office or online through the secure Razorpay gateway. A portion of a course fee can be set off against wallet credit before any online payment is collected.
- Any course fee paid is credited against your student record and reflected in your enrollment and fee transactions.
- A course fee does not include the cost of any external books, optional certification exams or equipment, unless expressly stated.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
The following refund policy applies to course fees. This is our standard policy and will also be confirmed by the Institute office at the time of enrollment:
- A student who cancels before the course's first scheduled class may be eligible for a refund of the fee paid, minus a nominal processing/administration charge and any cost already incurred for materials.
- After the course has begun, refunds are generally not available. In exceptional cases (e.g. medical or relocation grounds), the Institute may, at its sole discretion, offer a pro-rata refund or transfer the student to a later batch.
- Once a batch has started, there is no automatic right to a refund for absence or voluntary withdrawal.
- Refunds, where approved, are processed to the same source used for payment (via Razorpay for online payments) or by another agreed method, and are paid within a reasonable processing period.
Note: the exact numbers for the administration charge and refund window are set by the Institute and may be confirmed in writing at enrollment or on request from our office.
5. Wallet Credit Terms
- Wallet credit is an internal credit balance maintained by the Institute, recorded against your student account.
- Wallet credit has no cash value β it can be applied toward course fees, but cannot be withdrawn, converted to cash or bank-transferred.
- Wallet credit can be used to pay a course fee in full or in part; any remaining balance is settled through Razorpay.
- The Institute may allow students to send a portion of their wallet credit to another student's account (to another registered mobile number). Once sent, the transaction is final.
- Wallet credit is non-transferable to third parties other than through the Institute-supported credit transfer facility, and it is not inheritable or redeemable on death/closure of account.
- Unused wallet credit does not expire as long as your student account remains active in the Institute's records of its own accord (subject to clause 8).
- Any credit added by the Institute in error may be reversed, and fraudulent activity involving wallet credit may lead to account suspension.
6. Code of Conduct
Every student is expected to:
- Attend classes and assessments on time and follow the instructions of faculty and staff.
- Respect fellow students, faculty and the Institute's premises and property.
- Refrain from any behaviour that disrupts teaching, or that harasses, bullies or discriminates against any person.
- Not share, reproduce or redistribute course materials, recordings, lecture notes, question papers or login credentials without the Institute's written consent.
- Keep their own portal credentials confidential and take responsibility for activities on their own account.
- Not attempt to manipulate the fee, payment, refund or wallet systems, or use any student account other than their own.
Serious or repeated violations may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of enrollment without refund, as decided by the Institute.
7. Intellectual Property
All course content, study material, presentations, question banks, software and branding provided by the Institute are the property of Prathibha Institute or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. They are provided for your personal educational use only and may not be resold, published, or distributed.
8. Account & Data Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password. The Institute is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account where you have shared your credentials. Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Institute's total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms β whether in contract, tort or otherwise β is limited to the amount of the course fee actually paid by you. In no event shall the Institute be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss (including loss of profits, data or opportunity).
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Nizamabad, Telangana, India.
11. Changes to These Terms
The Institute may revise these terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the effective date shown above, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically. Continued enrollment or use of the portal after changes confirms your acceptance of the revised terms.
